The Computational Methods and Function Theory International Conference (CMFT) is a significant event organized every four years, with roots dating back to 1989. This conference has been instrumental in fostering international collaboration and networking opportunities among researchers in complex analysis and computational methods. It serves as a vital platform for early career researchers, particularly those from diverse cultural backgrounds, to engage with senior scientists, share their work, and receive valuable feedback on their research.The upcoming conference will take place at the Department of Mathematics, IIT Madras, in Chennai, India. It will feature an array of lectures, including plenary sessions lasting 50 minutes, 25 invited talks of 25 minutes each, and parallel sessions for contributed lectures that will range from 15 to 18 minutes. Additionally, there will be poster sessions designed to encourage discussions among participants. The CMFT conference not only aims to highlight the latest trends in complex analysis but also emphasizes the importance of collaborative research networks. To support this mission, the CMFT Prize will be awarded to an early career researcher under 40, recognizing outstanding contributions in the field. Furthermore, special financial support will be provided for participation from early career researchers, with a focus on female candidates from developing countries, ensuring inclusivity and diversity within the scientific community.As part of the conference, there will also be opportunities for young researchers in India to participate in an international workshop, proposed to be hosted during December 3 - 5, 2026, at IIT Madras. This workshop will include lectures from leading experts on modern research topics and will present open problems and conjectures that challenge participants to explore new avenues in their research.
