The event titled Exploring the Frontiers of 2D Materials Beyond Graphene is set to take place at the Vivanta Goa in Panaji, India. This seminar series is spearheaded by prominent figures in the field, including Prof. Rolf Haug from the University of Hannover, Germany, and Prof. Bhobe from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore, India. The primary goal of this workshop is to advance research and foster collaboration between early-career researchers and established scientists, focusing on the intersection of two-dimensional (2D) materials and quantum technologies.This initiative aims to create a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, showcasing the latest developments in 2D materials and their potential applications in next-generation quantum technologies. By cultivating expertise in quantum-enabled material science and device innovation, the workshop supports capacity-building efforts and strengthens Indo-German academic partnerships. The event is expected to draw participants from both Germany and India, contributing to the objectives of the quantum missions of both nations. Additionally, the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus-Foundation generously covers the cost of full-board accommodation for all attendees, ensuring an enriching and collaborative experience.
