Medicall is Indiaa€™s largest B2B Medical Equipment Exhibition, organized by Medexpert Business Consultants Pvt Ltd, under the leadership of Dr. Manivannan S, the Managing Director of Kauvery Hospital, a prominent 2,000-bedded hospital group in South India. The exhibition was created to address the challenges faced by small and medium-sized hospitals and clinics in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, particularly in procuring medical equipment and services. Dr. Manivannan recognized that these facilities often lack the resources to hire qualified purchase managers and that equipment manufacturers do not have sufficient sales support to cater to these hospitals. Medicall was envisioned as a platform to unite equipment manufacturers and hospital owners, making it easier for them to connect and conduct business. Over the years, Medicall has grown significantly, showcasing its value as a marketing platform for medical equipment companies. The first Medicall exhibition was held in Chennai, featuring 80 exhibitors and attracting 2,500 visitors. As the event evolved, the number of exhibitors and visitors increased dramatically. Recent editions have seen participation from over 450 exhibitors and 13,000 visitors, emphasizing the exhibition's growing influence in the healthcare sector. The event has also expanded internationally, with exhibitors from countries such as Germany, China, Taiwan, and England participating in various editions. Medicall continually innovates, introducing initiatives like the Healthcare Innovation Awards, which recognize advancements in the healthcare field, and the Medicall Academy, a skill lab aimed at sharing best practices in healthcare. The show includes a variety of seminars and workshops designed to be interactive and insightful, further enhancing its reputation as a vital gathering in the medical equipment industry.
