The UQ IITD Research Academy Annual Symposium, titled 'Global Challenges, Joint Solutions: Australia–India Multidisciplinary Pathways Forward,' is designed to foster collaboration and innovation between The University of Queensland (UQ) and the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD). This symposium will engage academics, PhD students, industry partners, and government representatives over three days in New Delhi, India, focusing on academia-industry engagement. The event aims to facilitate collaborative research initiatives that have a global impact, encouraging participants to explore and strengthen the Academy's initiatives.Throughout the symposium, attendees will have opportunities to engage in keynote talks, explore grant opportunities, and participate in interactive panel sessions designed to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue. Networking opportunities will be abundant, allowing for the exchange of ideas and fostering connections across various fields. Additionally, the symposium will feature workshops on entrepreneurship and technology transfer, aimed at co-creating innovative solutions to pressing challenges.
